    finally finished my disc brake conversion on my mav:yahoo::yahoo: i am so glad and now i can move onto the interior. but as soon as i finished and tried to run my mav my alternator stops working so that was another thing i had to do today. if aint one thing its another

    It was nice to get a break in the weather and be able to work on the Mav, isn't it? I got some work done on mine too.

    if im not mistaken you need to buy ball joints for a granada..upper and lower..and you also need a newer model master cylinder AND proportioning valve.... i believe :p

    I did the conversion on my 72 Comet GT. Everything bolted right in just had to change the outer tie rod to a newer version because the hole diameter is different.You can still run the same master cylinder but I heard you should change it eventually. Mine is running good with the stock master cylinder right now. This is just my experience.

    Shades what did you do on your conversion?

    me i got 72 mustang front discs those popped in fine just taking the old drums out was a pain. i broke a rubber boot on the control arm so i had to get a whole entire control arm just to replace that boot and after i popped them in but now i am in a peculiar postion because i have 4 lug in the back and 5 in the front.

    isnt most ofthe mustang parts interchangible with the mavericks

    i am no expert i had to ask on this forum to make sure the brakes would fit
