what is your opinion of them. I am building a flat top 351w with 69 model heads. It will be in a bracket car and I figure it will be done by 5500 rpm by what people with similiar combos have told me. I am thinking this cam would be ideal

With the right manifold, heads and exhaust the peak HP should be around 5300 rpm but it should continue to breathe well to over 6000.

If you are on the strip 35-250-4 would be nice! I run the biggest one in my 306 and love it!

I think it would overcam my motor since I will be done by 5500. How high do you shift at

    I'm shifting mine at 7,000 rpm...are you running 1/8 or 1/4?
The 250-4 will go 6500 rpm

Personally i don't care for the comp stuff, their cams can be off from cylinder to cylinder. (comp says 5 degrees maximum, Ive had them off worse than that). I would widen my lobe separation for more low end power since you will be bracket racing, And shifting below 6000. Also remember Ford heads don't like over 500 lift, Especially if you don't have screw in studs. I found a cam i would run if i were building somthing similar.

I found the camand lifters on there for $180 so I will go with that cam. I bet I will have one heck of a stump puller:yup:
