6901's with 351w

    1972 Maverick 351w swap, 1965 Mustang 355 glide, 1993 civic daily driver
    does anyone know if you can fit a 351w in a maverick with notched towers and use a set of hooker 6901 headers. I know the 351w will fit but I am not sure if the headers will fit. I was told that they would fit if you dented several of the tubes but I am not sure

    6901's wont work with a 351w.With the 351w having a taller deck,the headers wont clear the firewall/floor.

    '73 302 parts car 1969 1/2 351w/tko-500 in progress
    i tried this... i have a MII kit though... my problem wasnt the firewall... it was the frame rails. 6901's work with a 302 i guess.
