well i just bought a 302 out of a 91 f150. and 2 t-5 5 speeds... 1 has the 2nd synchronizer out and the other 5th gear torn out so i'll have to do some swapping but the one only has 7,500 miles on it...before some kid ripped it out. anyways i need info on making the swap from a c-4 automatic to the t-5 and a list of everything i need. i need info really bad so any pictures or just plain ol knowledge will work..... and maybe a tutorial...i couldnt find one on here because the stupid search engine has to have a 3 letter search...so t-5 doesnt come up.!!!!! thanks again.

To mount my T5 I had to cut out the dropped center section of the crossmember, move it 1 1/2" rearward and reweld it in order for the mechanical clutch linkage studs in the block and on the frame to align. The tranny mounting pad is farther back on a T5 than a C4/Toploader. Had to open up the top of the trans tunnel and add metal to clear the T5's shift rod tube and maintain correct trans/rear pinion angle.
