    i have a 73 maverick with a 302 points dist. i want to go with a electronic but i want it to look stock is there a stock dist. i can use from another car

    1972 Maverick 2 door.Original V-8 3 spd std shift.Also a 72 one owner Sprint sporting a 351 Windsor
    Buy a Pertronics "Ignitor II" electronic conversion kit. It fits under the stock cap and workes well.

    At the auto parts store. All you will need is time to install it and money to buy it.

    Go with the Pertronix III. Still fits inside the dist' but is basically a complete electronic ign. Has built adjustable rev limiter and multi strike capability. Keeps the stock look and never having to mess with points again.

    asked around at local auto parts stores no one has heared or either one of those dist.

    The Pertronix III is their newest version. So far very few dealers list it. Try CJ Pony as they do list it. If I were to use anything that would be the one. Not a bad bargain.
