I'm just wondering if anyone has very much experince with removing the wiper motor. I'm currently in the process of attempting to remove mine, and replace it with another one obviously because its broken. I am having a heck of a time removing some fo the skrews/bolts. There are the top two near the top of the dash, they're in a tight place and at an odd angle and was wondering if anyone else had some tips for me on an easier way to remove them. I'm trying to aviod taking out the dash as thats a job in itself.

I've done it. It's a pain in the ass and will require a lot of patience. There are 3 bolts that mount it up under the cowel, and some clips that attach the linkage to the wiper arms. You will need to tear the dash apart; mostly the instrument cluster (disconnect the speedo cable and wire connector) and the lower tray. You'll have to almost be a contortionist to get into the tight spot. It will not be fun, but with perseverance, you can do it. I have somewhat small hands, which was to my advantage...

I have done it and it is rough, I have decided that it was the first part on the assy. line and the rest of the car was build around it, I pulled the package tray, instrument panel, It can be done just stay on it, I am @ 220 lbs so it was a tight fit, when I would get so I could see it I couldn't move my arms:smash: :smash:

I changed mine and I accidentally put it the end piece on the motor on backwards and the wipers stopped in the up position. I was just a little mad at myself for that stupid mistake. changing it once is bad enough. just something to watch out for.
