Waiting for the truck to pickup my Mav in TN and get it here to Ohio is killing me. Still no expected delivery date. They say the "try" to get them shipped within 7 day. It will be 7 days tomorrow, but not looking all that promising. I called but "extream rural areas, take more time"

"Extreme rural areas" was certainly a new term for me. To me it sounds like "we really dont care about you"...

They must be able to tell you where your car IS!! I work with sending stuff over the planet and I can for sure tell where my stuff is.

OH I know where the car is, its still in the sellers yard. I used Auto Transport Direct. Seemed like a good company BBB and on ebay list and several other car sites. Just need... to ... be ... patient.. :16suspect

Is the red Grabber, pictured in your avatar, the car that you are waiting on?

Aha! Then I understand, I thought they didnt know where your car were. I was imagining some dirty trucker sitting on a bar getting drunk and taking your car for a joyride now and then...

I'm sure I would have a little anxiety about that to. I sure you will have it soon.

Go get it ! How far is it from you? Can't be that far, 500 miles max? I'd have done been down there with a trailer or rented a car and drove it back home if it was me!

    go get it

I thought about it. Its a 11hr drive. I almost borrowed the Pop's truck then trailered it back. But that's two days of driving and gas and cost of trailer and time off work. I thought this would be easier. My brother lives there. I was gonna have him rent a truck and car and trailer it up, id pay for his flight back. But well....

The key to getting a car shipped is having the car dropped off at a drop-off location, and then picking up the car at a drop off center close to you. This will get you the car faster.

Got a good truck with a hitch??? Call U-Haul where the car is in TN. Rent trailer over the phone(one way). Drive to TN...Pick up trailer...Pick up car.Bring it all home, drop off trailer at local U-Haul place and then the fun begins. Did this routine to get my Sprint. 16 Hr road trip to Yonkers NY and back. It was...fun...yeah... It was fun...:16suspect
