Still waiting on my Mav and wanted to know if there is a Mav club out in the Bay or anywhere close by. Not sure how old this post is? If not I should start a Bay Area Mav club. Hope there's one out here. Yet again it might just be me in the club J/K haha. I would like to take this car out when I get it.

Sacramento native here, currently living down near Fresno. If there's going to be a Bay area meet and my cars are running, me and the Dude would love to come hang out. Keep us posted on any California meets, would love chatting with you guys. ;)

i couldnt make south cal this year but hopefully could make pleasanton or sac gathering if someone arranges. i suggest waiting a month or two cause the snow fall here would have prevented me from knotts last weekend even if funds had not ;)

I would love to see to have more go on on this side of the country. But Ive only seen 1 70 mav in town besides mine and it doesnt count cause it was on a california car at the Viva Las Vegas car show.

there is one other member in vegas who posts a lot. what did the cali car look like? maybe it was one of the so cal guys on here. Knotts is probably your best bet at local for a gathering of any numbers though

There's a red 1970 Maverick here in Hanford that I've been seeing all over lately. Whoever owns it works at a local burger joint. I keep wanting to go in and talk to the guy, maybe see if he's a member here but it feels weird when both my Mavs are currently non-op. Didn't there used to be printable "business cards" for this site?

don't be shy, mav owners are used to being approached by people who dont even have one. have da man with you though.

Maybe we should just set up a mav gathering cruise for a sat afternoon or sun morning in the sac area and go from there? i still plan to try and make a bay area show, but i have friends there that will put up with me.... er... put me up for free. others may not have the funds. also i think we should encourage those who cant drive their mav on the road yet to come also. that sometimes is a hold back for people rebuilding their vehicle. building a new club is i think somewhat a side note.

Here's a link to hot san jose nights. It's in the bay area all the rides are coming out. Check out the link, sounds cool. Let me know who's going, maybe we can hook up out there. I should have my mav by then. I would love to take out the fam to this show and it would be cool if it wasn't just me in a mav. I have only heard of one mav out here in the south bay area, that looks clean. Other then that I have only seen two beat up and not running, show cars there not. anyways let me know, stay up, peace.
