So, I got tried of waiting for the sun to come out and decided that it was time to get down to business on this job.....bought some Acetone, not very happy, I thought the paint would strip a lot faster than it did. So, since I know it's gonna need a good sanding anyway, out came the 220 grit and the palm-sander, MUCH better, Got about 2/3 of the way through 1 side and ran out of paper, so here I sit again...I'll post more pics after I get more paper and finish it up. The stainless is in pretty good shape, with only a few shallow pits that pretty much sanded right out with a little elbow grease. After a good wet-sand, they should polish up really nice I think.

Just to clarify your clarification...the front windshield trim is stainless, the rear window trim is anodized aluminum. Why they did that I have no idea. Sure would have been nice if the rear had been stainless too.
