    Who IS full of money?

I posted a video of what that cam sounds like, just earlier today. Of course, that cam and those heads will not fully wake up until you slap on a better intake and carb. But that setup will be fun!!!

Do what you can now, and slap on a new intake and carb next year after income taxes come in!

The e7s are good heads, too, so if you find them, snag them. They are generally cheaper and easier to find, since they were offered on more cars.

As long as the heads are GT-40 and not GT-40P the exhaust should be the same.
Your 2bbl intake and carb are going to limit the effectiveness of all the other components. Are you using flat-top pistons? You are going to want close to 9.5 - 10:1 compression to get the most out of your engine.

I ran a comp extreme energy 262 in my 289.. specs were close to that cam there. I ran really good, and sounded nice too. Its a flat top piston motor with stock heads.
