dont know about bullitt rims but people have fit 17" rims. I guess backspacing is something to look at in the back since there is that leaf spring.

i took the bullit wheels off my mustang and tried putting them on my maverick. the front worked but the back would not work. you could get ones with different backspacing that would work but the stock bullit wheels wouldnt work for me.

Bolt on wheel spacers are your friend. 1-1½" should do the trick.

yup, you'll need at least 1" spacer in the front, and 1.25" or 1.5" in the rear

There's a company that makes the bullit wheel with the correct backspacing...let me look for the link.

I put a 8.8 out of a '94 gt and my '07 bullits needed 1/2" to clear the leaf springs. I don't know what the front will need, though. I mocked it up and 1" spacer might do it but it's close to hitting the control arm. I'm putting disc brakes on soon but that won't move the arm. It will allow me to run longer than stock studs to allow for a spacer, though. Anybody run the '05 and up bullits? Will the 1" spacer fix it?

    Thanks.

Nope, it will hit the tie rod end if I remember right. It hits something anyway. You'll need a bit more, as the '05 up wheels have even more backspacing than the previous generation, something like 6" I think. I run 1.5's.
