    Mad Goon,

Go get your charging system checked. The lights popping on and off can be a symptom of an overcharge condition. You might need a voltage regulator, too, to save that new headlight switch.

Ask how I know ... big road trip ... two states from home ... early AM hours ... dog-tired ... eh, fun times ...

Metal valve stems are a nice upgrade, and they look great in chrome wheels. :thumbs2:

I still can't get by the "I was on my way to sell a gun" introduction. It's great literary prose but I can't say I've ever started a story like that.

Seriously, sorry for your rough day. I'd say just shoot the car and put it out of its misery, but then again, you did just get rid of your firearm.:)

Probably an oversized hole letting air leak by the stem. The metal bolt in ones have rubber washers on both sides, and the shaft is threaded. Tighten down the nut, no more leaks. All big truck tires use those type, but are usually larger than passenger car type. You can get ones for your wheels in either brass color or chrome. Any good parts store or tire store [probably not Walmart] should have them.
