    Got my Marti report today

It seems as i expected my car is extremely rare as only 96 comets were made with the Paint/Trim code of mine. 12,221 gts were made in 1972. Guess I'll keep it for a while:clap: later Tim

Tim ... That is also 1 in 96 for total 2-door Comets not just GT Comets .... The numbers on mine refer just to Grabbers not the couple of hundred thousand other 2 doors was well. You have a very rare car indeed! Mavaholic - check your Report ... does it say those numbers are for Comet GT's or 2-Door Comets?

    DM-
Your car came from a famous dealer. Amazing how they get moved from
    coast to coast.

    WoW !!!
thats pretty neat... so, i can actually
contact this place and give them my
VIN number and they'll send me a report
about the complete building and selling
date of my maverick when it was new???

wonder if he can update it when i turn my
70 maverick into a REAL one of a kind GT Maverick :D

Auburn, he can give you a report on anything. He probably will
not update it for you as a clone of any type.

It would tell you some info that you may not know.

thanks guys... actually, i was joking
    about the GT Wanna Be.

I'll check into that. I'm really interested
in doing that as something to add with
    the collection for the car.

I haven't ordered it yet but they can also reproduce the original cardboard owners card with the metal tag that goes in the clear pocket of the owners manual holder.
