Mercury bites the dust...

    I just read on the interweb that Ford is going to shut down the Mercury line at the end of 2010. First Pontiac (the only GM division that I REALLY liked) and now Mercury. It's a sad day for me...I always liked their styling. Oddly enough the Lincoln line is going to stay in tact. When was the last time you saw a Lincoln that wasn't a cop car or a blinged out SUV???

    I read that as well. I hate to see them go. Could increase the value of the Comets.

    Dang, I was going to take a cheap shot at Comets but I just like the dang Mercury line too much. Sorry for the repeat...this thread can now die like the Mercury lineup...RIP
