i vote #3. simply put- when i eyeball a car one thing i do is check the over all look to see how much attenion to detail has been done. in other words, if you see it from far away and you say thats a sweet ride- then job done well. but if you see it from far away and you say did you see those wheels on that mav? NOT SO MUCH! thats just my:2cents:

    Wow - tough call...but I'm going w/ no.3.

My question: How do you guys get the wheels so far out ?!?!?

My (stock?) mav wheels look too far inboard and it makes the car look skinny and unstable to me.

None of the above. Shiny wheels look better IMHO. Chrome or polished aluminum. The dog dishes are OK if used with trim rings, but I just don't like black wheels on anything.

Use all of them. Well, you had all three styles avialable to put on your car.....if you have all three sets, use them according to your mood, or what look you want to convey at the time.

I do that all the time..... a set of big-n-littles for the drag/pro street look, stock steelies with poverty caps for the stock/sleeper look, maybe some 17's for the pro-touring style, or a set of polished/chromes for show/custom.....original Torque-Thrusts for the classic hot rod look.

Wheels can change the entire character and personality of a car.......instead of having alot of cars of different styles,...

with varied sets of wheels, one car can have many different styles.

I'm don't like black rims personally, but on this car, I thought the black looked pretty good so I voted for 2.

I like number three the best but all look nice. With number three I would also like to see what it looked like with the trim rings on it.

No question #2... As long as you're coin for a more badasa look, although #3 seems to be more of a retro cruising look. The black on #2 accents the small amount of black on the rest of the car, matching overall coloring better..and not to mention the white lettering just is the icing on the cake. (y)
