    It's a regular Maverick underneath. Notice the flat area, the 9 is more round

    Yup defiantly an 8 inch.. Your last maverick was very sharp, this gonna be a sharp maverick if you make it look anything like your last.. Good survivor.

    the guy i got the car from had told me he pulled the rear end out of a 70,s model ford truck and stuck it in the car. but then agin the guy didnt really know much about cars to begin with.any way i got a maverick agin thats all that matters to me.im just glad to have one agin.

    I believe any truck rear is way too wide to fit a Maverick. My guess is that it is just an 8 inch rear from a later Maverick - bolt in - no problem. :)

    But like you say, the best part is that you have a Maverick again - that's what is important :thumbs2:

    Just for identification purpose, I attached a picture of my 9 inch Versailles rear.

    I removed the spring perches as it is going to use coil over shocks and the brackets are for a Watts setup.
