How much can you lighten a Mav?

    Crash beams in the doors started in 73'...

    Glad I read this thread! I love the idea of the lighter doors, anybody ever did a side by side comparison of weight? Wondering what the difference is.

    would those years for the lighter doors be different from the mav to the comet?

    Early doors will bolt on to a later Mav/Comet. The interior panels, door pulls, and release lever are very different, and in different locations if that matters to you.
