Engine Yes ... with the necessary Maverick V8 mounts ... The rear end would require either fabrication of you car or fabrication on the rearend to make it work with leaf springs ... It ain't no bolt in that is for sure ... And if you want to stick with Fuel injection thats a whole other story ...

i dont know what i want to do my dad says im trying to do to much at once i think he is right but i really would like to swap to a v8 and 5 lugs and im trying to figure out the easiest way to do it.... i still havent painted my truck and it was supposed to be done before i went back to school for my senior year well at least the mav is painted but yeah my dad says to just look for a mav recked with the 302 and rearend and stuff already in it and just switch it over but i dont know i want to do it now and not look forever i was at the salvage yard today and found a granada with the rearend and the front discs the yard wanted 2 1/2 for all of it but i dont know what to do... the maverick is a fun car and i cant keep from thinking about how bad it would be with a beefed up v8 and some nice wheels(which u dont find with 4 lugs) but i guess it can all come later after my truck( my most prized possesion) is finished lol ill get em done
