Just bought my first Grabber...

    Thanks for the kind words guys. I'm definitely torn on what to do with this car. It is in such great original shape that I almost don't want to touch it.

    But, that just wouldn't be any fun. What I'll probably end up doing is converting over to power disc brakes in front, installing 5-lug rear end, 302/C4, and A/C from my other Maverick. But like I said, the car is so stock that I'm tempted just to leave it for now.

    In the long run, I think a total restoration is in the plans. But, that is a ways off as I have a classic Bronco currently ripped apart in my garage.

    A 100% stock restored Maverick is not something that has great value, but a tastefully modified one, will in the long run be worth more.
    As long as your not going to paint it blue, and tub it, you should be fine :)

    I love how original it is! I would almost want to leave it alone, a car is only that original once. But, me being me I couldn't not do what you are talking about.
