    I just got a t5 for my car. Was considering trying to use the stock mustang cable setup, but maybe hydraulic is the way to go.

    How come the crossmember is hanging from those two strap thingies?

    it was easier than cuting up the crossmember and rewelding it for the T5 to fit, its also backwards but it works:)

    1972 mercury comet with a maverick front end. It has a 1992 5.0 motor in it.
    Looks good. Im gathering parts for mine now. What master cylinder did you use?

    I turned mine around backwards, too, oblonged the mounting holes (trans and horns), and cut a small piece out of the top to clear the passenger side mounting horn. No welding or other cutting required.
