Here in Connecticut I think most all the Mavericks rusted away. it is rare that I see any, let alone a nice one. Today I went to a show in Manchester, Ct. They shut down an entire length of Main St. for the show. It is a one mile stretch with cars parked on both sides and three wide right down the center of the street. I don't know a total count, but heard over two thousand cars! Anyway, today I spotted this beautiful 72 Maverick. Sorry for the crappy pics, all I had with me was my cell phone. The car had a lazer straight body and flawless red paint. And I do mean perfect mile deep, sanded and buffed perfect red paint. It has a 347 and a C4. The car is for sale for 15k. If anyone is interested I do have the number. I really liked the fuel filler delete, nice clean touch! Enjoy, Glenn
I was there with my Maverick. I was parked paralel to the red Maverick on a side street. I saw your Ford parked next to Dan's yellow 32. I sold him his 55.
Holy cow! What a small world. 15 or so of us met at the Tyrods garage and rolled in together. I see Danny Z every Wednesday as we both hang with the Wednesday Night Guys crowd. I saw your car as well, nice car!!
Thanks for the compliment on my car. I've been following the build on your Maverick. Judging by your Ford (47 or 48?), I am sure the results will be worth waiting for. Hope we will meet up some time.
