I am planning on buying this set of valve covers. He told me one of the baffles was missing. He said it still had the screw holes in it if I wanted to but a baffle back in it. I was wondering what the baffle did anyway. Here is a pic of them. He wants $45 shipped for them so I plan on getting them

They keep oil from going up into the breather. You'll have to get the grommets that go into the holes also.:)

They are easy to make out of a bit of thin sheet metal. Just pattern the missing one off of the other side. Alternatively you can buy a breather that is baffled but they don't work nearly as well.
