I bought a 74 project car that came with the factory 302 and C4. I bought a 351 and an AOD and so don't need 'em.

The 302 runs and sounds strong and does not spew smoke but definitely need some tuneup attention as I need to poor a little gas in the carb to get it started and running until she warms up. Also, it did not have this problem when I first got it, but now when a start it up (to move the car around in the driveway) the oil idiot light stays on. I'm pretty sure the engine has not been redone, since it has the original 2 barrel, accessories, valve covers (with the yellow OK stamp), etc.

The C4 shifts in and out of gear fine and doesn't seem to have any issues.

What do you think these are worth separate or as a package deal?

    Thanks - Jamie

I still have them, but they currently are not for sale ... I was gauging what they are worth, to maybe sell, or just keep as spares ... you never know what bad things may happen.

I'm confident that the trans can be bolted in behind a stock powered engine and provide reliable service. I'm thinking the engine is a rebuild candidate if I can't figure out the oil pressure alarm issue.

Suffice it to say, if I do sell one, the other, or both, they won't be shipped (LOL).
