Well yesterday I went to an all Ford car show put on by the Mid American Cougar Club. Had a good time seeing the cars and stuff but it was even better to see friends there. Jim(coutangman) is part of the host club and drove 800 miles in a 73 (I think) conv mustang with no air. Jerry Fow was there with his stallion, and won best 70s Ford (again, I think). John Ford showed up later with Pinky. Didn't get to spend enough time with them but isn't that how it always goes? First time I've done anything car related lately so it was good get out. Here is a little pic after the show was over. that is Jim, Jerry, myself and John from left to right.

It was a great show, despite the heat. I am ready to go back to Florida to cool down!

Ward, sorry I wasn't able to swing by your house on Sunday. By the time I got to E-town, you were still in church, my sister was still in church, and my nephew was going to church. So, I stopped in at White Castle, went to my nephew's new store for gas, and went on down to Nolin Lake to look at properties. Didn't get to my sister's house until about 6PM, heat beat and tired.

Today, we went out to a couple of Amish farms and I got my fix of Kentucky tomatoes(best in the world), so I am ready to head back to Florida tomorrow morning.

Thanks, guys, for being there and being a nice addition to an already wonderful vacation. See you next year.

    Jim

I am safe and sound back in Ocala after an 1800+ mile trip in a classic car. Going through Tenn between MtEagle and Chattanooga and also around Gainesville, Fl, I ran into monsoon rains and I felt like I was underwater!! Whew!!! Otherwise was a great trip back, 2 laned it through Ky to Murfreesboro with the top down, best part of the trip. If you can believe it, it was 64 degrees when I left out at 6AM. Beats the heck out of that 115 heat index crap we had! See you in July or Aug or both.
