depending on where you are in fl you can also check out Auto Air & Audio. they are in winter haven toll free # 866 975 4438 or 352 536 2434. i was quoted a price for a brand new top of the line underdash system installed for $1400-1500. I'm sure they can get you the parts if you are gonna instal yourself.

Works great but rarely ever use it. It really isn't needed very often here.

    hello there,

thanks for responding. unfortunately i dont live in florida. i live in new orleans. i can get a charging gauge, but those refrigerant recovery machines are expensive and i cant find one to rent anywhere. somebody said you can remove the freon with the charging gauge hose. HOw? is that true?

When I restored my 75 Mav I installed a NEW compressor I got for Denton, TEXAS for $55. Th guy said he had 500 of the NOS Ford Compressors.

I just wish I could figure out how to make mine blow out the center vent.

so you got and a/c compressor for $55? wow. You said he had 500 more? Was he able to ship it to you. I looked online at napa and the cheapest was like about 300. I was reading someting about the vents in the car and one thing I think is you would have to go under the dash board to fix that problem. did you try taking the vent out to see if something was blocking it?

    hello again,
I did call the number you gave me. 817-332-5238. And a lady said they changed their prices and I would have to be a repair shop to get it at a good price and not a regular customer. Oh well....Thanks though:)
