When cleaning out the trunk of the 76 we just bought, I found 4 beauty rings. They look to be in really good condition. I doubt Matt will want to put rings and hubcaps back on his car.

My question - is there a market for beauty rings or does everyone stick with rims? If so, what is the going price? Not sure if we will be selling them, but just asking.

I would have to say they are still a popular option for guys going for the factory look. I am using them on my 70 Grabber, as that is being restored to stock. I bought a real nice set for $100 on ebay.

I am looking for another set in perfect condition. If you want to get rid of them let me know, maybe we can strike a deal.

I have them on my car even though the car is not factory stock anymore. I have them on a set of 14" Mag 500 painted wheels. I don't know what they sell for. I have seen new ones in some of the Mustang resto catalogs. There are still a few folks out there using beauty rings

I'm putting them on mine till I come up with the $$$$ for a set of Cragars and 2 more Radial TAs. I picked up four decent rings for $40.

They are not perfect. They have a small dent here and there, but the chrome looks good. The back side of three look really good, the 4th has a about two or three grips with a little rust. I have tried to picture the worst parts.

Wonder if someone might want to barter. Trade 4 beauty rings (and dinner) for some welding. I need 26 (or so) trim holes welded closed. ;)

Those aren't factory Ford type rings. Look like aftermarkets based on the "teeth" on the back.

Thanks Tim. I wouldn't know the difference. I am still new at this.

Oh well, thanks for considering. :) :) Of all the things that need done to this car, the welding scares me the most. I will not be trying that. I will try to find someone to do it for hire.
