I hate to kill my Mav but no one wants to buy it and my grand daughter needs a college car so I can turn it in under the Texas Air Check program for $3k plus it will save $ 187.50 in sales tax. I put a lot of work and money into the Mav, which I should have known better but I can help her out by doing this. After I get caught up on my back surgery and get her taken care, I will try to find Mav or Comet that has been restored, it is cheaper that way. Thank Y'all for all the help you have given me on my project. Texasjack
You do what you gotta do. 4 doors don't have much value to being with, it's too bad, but that's what happens.
Wow ... Texas gave you $3K for 1975 4-door? I think you made out pretty good! Too bad you can't part it out first.
i"m looking for a good one but i can't compete with $3000. If you can get that from the state it is probably your best offer. I would love to keep building on your start but my offer would be much lower. sorry, 4 door just aren't worth much on the market. i had over $15000 in my green one and wouldn't have been able to sell it for over 4000. if you are interested contact me.
Restored 75 Mav The only things mine needs is the Apline radio I furnish installed rear speakers are in the rear shelf and the A/C vents made to blow harder out the center vents, it blows out the center some and both the side vents and the rest on he floor vent. I just put a battery in it yesterday. I wish i did not have so much in it so I could give it away but the State money is there and solid. I will try to adopt it to a happy home, no hurry, because it will take a while for the Hyundai plant in Montgomery to catch up with demand. Thank you Jack
