Trunk carpet pics . . .

I wanted to see some trunk pics with carpet installed. My carpet is looking pretty fugly with the sensual sound deadener installed

 

Here's mine, I used the stock style carpet, I bought from Craig:

Nope, it's just sitting there, it molded itself to the shape of the floor pretty good.

I like a vinyl mat better if you are going to use the trunk to haul stuff.

I haul the lawn chairs, EZ-Up, and a cooler.

 

These pictures are from before I had my car painted, but the trunk is about the same today:






I used a bulk roll of carpet I bought from JC Whitney, foam board from Lowe's to make panels, spray headliner glue as well as strips of Velcro to connect some of the pieces together...

The second picture shows the panels I put in to conceal the battery box. I moved the battery to make room for the air cleaner for the EFI.

Yeah, I'm different.

 

that turned out nice. What is that little black thing on the trunk lever arm in the second picture?

 

That's an inertia switch for the fuel injection, shuts down power to the fuel pump if the car is in an accident. I think I got that out of a Lincoln.

 

Probably more invlovled than what you are looking for but look at the trunk pic in my signature. Looks nice and the sytem sounds good, but no room for spare tire
