    But im just wondering here. The '69 318 came stock with 230 hp with a 2 bbl carb.

    How much hp would it have with a 4 barrel holly 650? estimates?

    Again, im just wondering here cause my 318 is sitting in my garage just waiting to be sunk into something. And im in desperate need of another project since my maverick is done and my ranger is on hold...

    That depends on the intake you use. An aftermarket one will make more power than stock 4bbl intake. When i went from a 2bb to a 4 on my maverick it felt like a whole nother car.

    its got an edelbrock rpm performer on it.
