that seems right. i would suspect that the starter is bad. disconnect the 12 gage wire. put test light or volt meter on that post and turn the key to crank. does it have batery voltage? if so then all it really can be is the starter. if not then the solinoid, wireing or ignition switch is bad. you can get a remote starter test switch or make one out of a momentary switch. hook it up to the big post on the starter and onto the tab on the starter. when you press it the starter should crank. if not that starter is bad or you dont have power to it or a good ground.
thanx for all ur help i greatly apprciate it lots!!!!!!!!! i am gonna redo my battery cable ground this weekend nd double check the engine gound also to make sre ths isnt the problem,now i fu remember i have the battery ground wire grounded on one of the bolts that hold the trunk latch in place,i sanded all the paint off reall good before installing ,but satuday im gonna rehook it to the rear frame rail .this wayi know i have agood ground.i keep u informed
you was right !! It was the starter all along i tried my spare and it was bad also i have a good one now that spins over very well Thanx for all ur help .i guess i had everything wired up right but the ground from the engine block to the frame was not in place and u helped with that as well.AFTER 3 STARTERS IM ON MY WAY
