Nick Dominick is there. I talked to him today as he walked around in the rain.

Ive been there in the rain, no fun when everything is covered up and mud everywhere. Tomorrow should be a good day. Ive been off all week and haven't gotten anything done because of the weather. Looking foward to tomorrow. Tell Nick not to buy up everything! LOL ...

I know Nick is going to bid on that Grabber. I dont go to Spring or Fall Carlisle, unless I really need something specific, because there is way too much GM and arts & crafts crap for me. Makes it hard to find the Ford stuff.

I went to the auction to bid on that yellow 1972 Grabber with 15,107 miles on it. It was a very nice original car, V8, A/C, P/S. I brought $11,000 in hopes of maybe having a chance at it but I didn't even get a chance to raise my hand to bid. The first bid started at $12,500 and the car sold for $16,500. It seemed to me that is was the most popular car at the auction which had 260 cars in it. There was always a croud around it, people were even talking about it in the bathroom and the beer line.

Pam and I went Friday, GREAT weather! Not to hot, not to cold. By the time we walked the entire show there was no way I would have been able to walk down to the auction building. I barely made it back to my truck in the armory parking lot.
