    DJ; it is a Comet deluxe cap. Don't know what year, but it is a good one. Nice find!

    It was for those year Comets. It is the deluxe cap.

    Thanks! I appreciate the info. I have had this thing for years, and never quite knew what it was from... until I landed in the world of Mavericks and Comets with my recent acquisition. This cap was for Comet only, eh? Not the LDO Maverick as well?
