so yesterday my mom went for a ride with me in my maverick and she said that she didn't like bench seats and that i get should get bucket seats. so i told her that ill let her know when i have the money for decent LDO seats or some high backs but then she said, "no, i mean new seats" and i said again ill let you know when i get the money. so then later last night she came up to me and said,"oh, you don't have to worry about the money for seats ill buy them for you" so now im pretty excited but i don't know what to get. i looked on eBay and on summits website and they have some pretty nice seats but im not sure how comfy they are or how they look in person. now that im done talking im asking what racing/sport seats would be good within a price of 350 for the pair?
I like Conquest Tsi seats and if I had the cash I'd get a pair faster than Rosie at a cafeteria. My Comet has Mustang 5.0 buckets(both passenger...dont ask) and they are sporty and comfortable(and cheap). Simple swap I used the brackets from both the bench and the Mustang and it works. These seats also are easy to mate to Maverick bucket rails if you can score them.
I was thinking maybe something like this: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SMT-44917/ but they are for jeeps would it be possible to make brackets for themto fit a maverick? or these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2-x-...Q5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories#ht_12399wt_814 or these http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-G1159B-1/
I was going to say definitely go with the LDO's if you could find them, no doubt the most comforable seat they had for the whole series. I think racing style seats just seem a little too different for our older cars. Then I saw those from summit you posted and thought that they'd look pretty good in a Maverick as well. Looks a lot like a LDO seat.
Gotta agree with Dave, go with the procars...might have to save abit more green but they just have that muscle car look...
I plan to fine some Altima seats. The seat in my wife's 2004 are almost a perfect match to the material and pattern on my rear seat.
