The rear package tray is made for 6x9 speakers. I would suggest a pair of those.

i agree with craig, 6x9's would be your best bet, that way you dont to do any thing custom, and you can gett 3 ways with a high peak no problem. i'm running a DULE stareo with 2-6" tweats in the frunt and 2- 3way 6x9 300w peaks in the back and it sounds great.

since my car is not going to have a back seat we are going to strenthen the top rear shock supports and do something custome and put 2 10's or 2 12's were the top part of the back seat should be...... and the 2 6x9's and maybe something under the dash.....

you didnt really say where your putting your frunt speakers i'm not sure if their in the door on that year or not but on my maverick thier are little plastick panels just under the dash on the wall where 2=6's go, like i said though not sure if they are their or not on your year but it mite be something to look into if you dont have anything thier.
i also had a AM in my maverick but i took it out and cut the bottom off of the little plastic insert and the new one fit just fine, i've done this on a few older cars its not hard just make sure it'll fit with the mod befor you do it, or you could be stuck with a big ugly dash, i can post pic's of what my dash looks like if your want.
