hey guys i'm about to start doing the v-8 swap and t-5 swap as well. So i bought a 83 capri with a 302 and a t-5. And i want to know what is there anything else that i should keep other than the engine, bell housing and tranny.
Those bellhousings use a pull style cable clutch set up as opposed to the older style z-bar....You can keep the whole pedal set up from the Mustang and adapt it to the Maverick with some work or convert it to either a hydraulic slave cylinder or a hydraulic throw out bearing....I'm doing the same swap soon and am going with the hydraulic pull type slave cyl.
