Yesterday got a coat of rattle can "Ford grey" in my engine bay. also , Tuesday, a new battery trey. Motor is just about ready to install. I need to clean up the p/s pump, fuel pump and alternator and drop that sucker in. I hope it goes in as easily as it came out.

    as requested

in the 2nd photo you can see the quality work of the PO. If you look closely in the 5th pic you can see the repair (about 1:00 above the torque converter, right in the "C" formeedn by the brake lines. I am waiting for a friend to get me a hole saw to cut the new hole

    1 step closer

It is a great feeling to hear it when it cranks. . . patience is important to get things right the first time.

Great to hear of your progress.

    See you on the road.

A young friend came over this aft and we droped it in. motor mts are finger tight, 4 bell housing bolts finger tight.
I just checked and the torque conv. bolts are dragging. I do not want to pull that engine all out again. hopefully i cvan put in some long bolts into the block from the bell and get enough room to turn TC to line up with hioles. It got too cold and dark to work and now...,.
it's Shiner Bock time. He's coming back tomorrow
he has an 87 Capris? It's like a fox body mustang
