Ok i have the chance to buy out a local guy of his 30 plus year collection of Mav/Comet parts and a southern US 76 Maverick. The car is just about completely rust free but is 80% dissasembled, comes with get this a NOS Grabber hood!!!!multiple doors ,fenders, interior parts, trim, small bumper conversion parts etc, etc. He's asking $3000 for the lot of it and won't sell individual pieces, all or nothing.
Well what do you all think?

You ain't hauling it home yet? :rofl2: Depends on what the collection of parts turns out to be. 30 years of rusted sheetmetal ain't worth much. I'd take an inventory and then figure up what I wanted to keep and what I wanted to sell, then see if it's worth it or not.

Sounds like it could be a good find if the parts are usable or saleable. Good luck. :thumbs2:

That NOS grabber hood has got to be worth $700-800, even in this economy. Sounds like a good deal.
