Throttle cable question

    I need one of the plastic pieces that connect the gas pedal. I am not sure what this piece is called. Are they available. I have attached a picture and circled the piece I am talking about. Thanks...

    are you sure you need it? i bought that same cable i just used the metal one right next to that and put it where the old cable came undone from. i can try to take a pic of my set up later if you would like.

    I used that cable on the mustang. First time out, that plastic piece broke. I wound up with a 1/4" bolt that I cut a slot in length wise (big enough for the cable to drop down into), and used 2 nuts and washers to fasten it to the pedal. My shade tree repair has outlasted 3 of those cheap cables

    those style cables are junk get you a ford stykle cable there just as cheap price wise

    I want planning on using that cable I wanted to know what the piece I had circled was called. I am going to use a lokar cable.
