It's never too late to learn the ways of the ninja, :biglaugh: At one point I might have been the youngest member here, but that was 15 years or so ago and 3 versions of this board ago.

I guess the saying: Meeting in Feburary. Why Feburary. Because we can. That's how we do it in the desert. Is a crack at those of us who have to deal w/ more unfavorable weather this time of year. I suppose u have the right to say that - It is a fact. Enjoy ur meet in the desert. I wish I cud be there. I hope u have a nice turnout. Looking foward to some pix. :yup:

Ya, while most the country has to put their cars in storage it's the best time for us to get out and drive ours. But come summer time when its 110 degrees out, mine goes into storage mode.

Wow it took me almost 8 years to get to my 700th post. I see some people on here for a year or less with that many posts. Its good to finally have an office job and I can actually participate here instead of just lurking when I had time.

Mojo, Guess I shouldnt rub it in that this sunday we are also going out to fly RC aircraft with my dad and brother. Weather is perfect for that. Probably gonna be a while in Chicago until you can get out to do that.

This Sunday we are going on a Toys for Kids motorcycle ride. Should be nice out. I'm also part of the SS crowd with the rest of the old timers.:)

Anybody in the West Phoenix/Glendale area ever run into a guy named Ryan with a 71-72 Green Grabber? Probably in his late 20s by now. I used to work with him at Autozone at 43rd ave and Bell and lost touch when I quit.

That turned out good Stinky. So is "bigger better"?:thumbs2: I hope I can at least have the motor done enough to bring the comet to the meet. I have been seeing a few on the road lately. Saw a green plan jan on the 17 today with dual exhaust. Couldn,t get close enough to hear it though, still looked good though

I spent the whole evening out in the garage working on wiring. It should be done by then, assuming nothing goes haywire.

    Tree'd ya! October of '62!

I'd love to go Robbie, but I'm leaving to go out of town that day. Are you going to race at that 1/8 mile grudge race on the 11th at Speedworld? I saw it the last time they had it and it was a kick! Oh and Speedworlds prices have gone down recently for those who didn't know. The run what you brung nights are $20 to race and $10 to watch. And I quote...

Speedworld is NOW under NEW management!
We've made some personnel changes & we'll continue making noticeable upgrades to the facility.

We've lowered prices & we'd love to see a huge group of you High Performance Stangs out at the track!

I remeber when they made HUGe Upgrades, like 10 years ago. They added a couple light poles. Still had timing issues all the time. Nothing like making a run and having no results and nobody in the stands to tell ya what you did.

I think the new management is Victoria Griffey. Bernie Longjohn is taking over the lease of SIR in Tucson as of Jan. 1st. Also Tucson has scheduled a Nitro Jam on March 25 &26. :)
