Here's a few pics of the car at seller's house on uneven ground with poor lighting. As I said before, paint is seriously dull/oxidized:http://mmb.maverick.to/images/attac...ent.php?attachmentid=46228&stc=1&d=1291691492
Looks great! No rust is visible, pretty straight body. The paint is a given with its age, shoot ten year old cars start to get that out here!
Looks like a nice solid car. That being said, the driver's front fender looks to be repainted, so I would be looking for accident damage there, but it looks really nice otherwise.
Body looks great!!! Car has been re-painted in the past but thats nothing provided the rest of the chassis looks like the body does...
thats a nice car and you said very original in Ohio thats every bit of a 2500.00 car ( I would give that and pay to ship it!) paid 2600.00 with shipping for my present car.as a project the expensive metal work wont be required. as stated look for damage to drivers side, inner fender, fender brace ect. Whats the paint code? looks like a 3M silver blue glow metallic but I dont think they called it that until 73 or 74. I like the small moldings too
I like the old CB radio antenna on the trunk lid (minus the aerial) . Was there a hole cut in it, or is it magnetic?
That's not an antenna, it's the mostly destroyed locking gas cap that I yanked off.I must say though, that when I saw that pic, I thought "how the heck did I not notice that antenna?" then I remembered> And, yeah, upon close inspection, car was repainted a very long time ago and looks like right front fender was replaced but no damage to inner fender, etc. Gene
