Bought the m/c from Frank, and he said it was for a Dakota. I looked for the pn#, but couldn't find it on the m/c. Must be on the underside. The tubing is steel hard line, and I used the stock brake light switch, not the one on the dist. block. I have an adjustable rod for the m/c. The pedal is in the middle, and I don't use a block to stop it. The rod won't fall out. I pulled the pedal all the way up, and it stays in, no problems. Hope that answered everyone's questions. If you have any more, let me know.

Didn't have to file anything, it went right on... I don't have any pics of the MC, although I have some that include it. I'll try and take a couple pics tomorrow. Everything I used was stock except for the metric flare nuts.

Gentlemen I need a favor, I put on the Ranger MC and took measurements but it just looks like my brake pedal is so far off the floor. I used the rod that was from the old MC and both measured 5 inches from the face of the mounting boss to the center of the pin hole but it just doesn't look right. I hope my eyes are playing tricks but it's best to know for sure. From the side of the pedal to the carpet is at 7 inches, is that right ? Boy I will be glad when these brakes are done, I hate this fluid. I will post some pics when I get this done.
    Thanks Rick
