My 331 is just about done and ready to go in the car in the couple of weeks. Hoping to get it in before it gets too cold here. I have never used fuel injection before for performance so hope it works out.

I wanted to buy AFR heads but couldnt find a used set and didnt want to spend 1500 on a new set, so I settled on a set of edlebrock RPM heads. Not the best out there but I practically stole them off a craigslist ad.

There are plenty of people making good power with the RPM and Victor heads just don't go to SBF.com and say you like them. The Fast as Cast crowd will decend on you and call ya every dirty name in the book

Looks great! What tuning options does it offer? Can you like hook it up to a laptop to fine tune the parameters? Or is it all automactic?

Nothing wrong with RPM heads I just built a customer a 331 with all the bells a whistles using a procharger and 15lbs boost it made 553 to the rear wheels with a semi aggressive tune drive it all day long with the a/c on in traffic no problems at all and plenty of reserve power left in the tune!

It comes with a USB plug, I had it plugged into my laptop and updated the bios already. Everything is completely tunable on it, I was playing around with the software a little bit and you can completely control the fuel/air ratio every 100 rpm. Its actually quite involved, so Im going to probably let in stay in auto-learn mode at first.

Wow thats pretty cool! I have 3 software programs i use to tune and they only let me do 500/1000 increments. Also on a plus side the wideband that comes with those is only twenty bucks. If you get it anywhere else its at least $150 or more.

What kinda boost are you thinking of? Now a days anything can be made to handle boost :D Mallory even sells a distributor with a built in MAP sensor.
