I put Granada disc's on my 71 Mav and have used the Ranger MC. I used the old push rod and removed the distribution block. Installed a prop valve to the rear brakes and replumbed the fronts. I took measurements and there is no way the rod could come out but there is some extra play with the pedal as it doesn't have the retainer clip on the end of the push rod. Because of this I will be making a pedal stop and clamping it to the steering column. I wish that some one could measure their brake pedal and tell me how far off the floor it is ? Mine is 7 inches from carpet to the side of the pedal, now if this length is wrong then I will go with a ajustable rod. I'm going to purchase a Motive pressure bleeder as it comes with the right cap and I like the pressure gauge thats mounted on it for testing. Hope you guys like my setup and again could somebody please get me that measurement ? Thanks Rick

If you do a search you can find the thread that Frank made. A bunch of up measured our pedals, there are several different ones.

Diddie I liked it OK and I think with it being alittle softer it should seal better. It's just that a 40 inch piece with the fittings was about $15. There is also some stuff that is green and it bends just a little easier then the steel but I was told that it won't kink like the steel so if I was to do alot I would use that. I think a roll of 25 feet was $14.99. Now would you go measure your pedal for me, PLEASE Rick

The green stuff is PVC coated steel line. I use a lot of it.

Maverick 75 Thank you for the info but what I'm trying to find is how far the pedal is from the floor. If i measure from the floor to the side of the pedal I get 7 inches and I wonder if my pedal is up higher then normal. It should take about 2 seconds to check, my pedal will go up higher and thats why I'm putting a stop on it. Thanks again Rick

Okay luckily my neighbor had a ruler. From the floor up to the bottom part of the pedal i got 6 7/8th. I have a full carpet with undermat, the only thing i dont have is a rubber pad on the pedal. Its just the metal part.

Mine measures differant then 75s! it is about Ten feet seein how it's laying on the work bench right now:rofl2: on the other note i have used the green stuff as well it is alot easier to use then steel i was planning on it untill i seen the new stuff, our supplier said they had 25 foot roll under 25 dollars and i do like the looks of it so i might go with it. i'll probly get a chance to use some at the shop first so i can get a feel for it :tiphat:
