    I'm Billy from Daytona, fl... I just bought a 1970 Maverick with a 302 engine in it.
    I plan on tricking it out.....I look forward to getting advise during this adventure....

    Welcome :) The 302 wasnt available in 70 so looks like someone did the hard work already! Also if the key is on the dash that means its actually a 69.5 model. 70 will be on the column.

    Actually mine is a 69.5 with the key on the package tray under the dash :)

    Billy; I am from Daytona Beach, originally, and now live in Ga. I have a 69.5 also, with the V8 conversion. I was down for the Dream Cruise in Oct., and hope to make it for the Cruise next year also. Good luck,
