This time a friend called me today and said there was a car sitting in his neighbors woods and said it was like mine but a 4dr. He lives a few miles away so I went over to take a look. It is a 1973 comet 4dr, LDO. We were able to drag it over to his property, along the driveway. I haven't been able to get into it yet though. It has been cold here for a few days so we can't figure out if the doors are frozen shut or whether it is locked. The windows are so fogged up that it is hard to see inside. It is a v8 car with ac though. I'll go back over in a couple of days and try to get it open and clean it off a little. So I now have 3. 2 77 mavs and 1 73 comet.
I have a 73 Comet with a small bumper. I need a parts car but I keep blabbing when I find one and someone else gets it. Congrats on the score! Hope it's filled with parts.
The same friend that called me about the 73 comet, called me this evening to inform me that the previous owner changed his mind and wants to keep the car. The car is still at my friends place and the previous owner still holds the title, so it was a almost. He said he would let me know if there were any more changes.
