maverick weight for each year

    I could easily carry the 73 comet door, and toss it into the back of my truck alone. The 74 mav door was heavy enough that I could barely move it across the garage, and needed help getting it into the truck.

    I was just guestimating.

    That is a pretty good sized chunk of metal in that reinforced door.

    But other than that one door and small bumpers, I have done nothing to reduce weight, and actually have added weight with most of my upgrades.

    I've done just the opposite, everything I've done so far has shaved weight, except for the addition of the v8. In the next couple months before the drag season I'm only gonna be adding weight. Still have to put in aluminum door panels, rear side panels, package tray, rear seat delete, and then sub connectors at minimum. I want to put in a roll bar but I know I'm not gonna be going fast enough to need it. It would be mainly for the stiffening but I don't know if the added weight is a good trade-off.
