I guess I'm the new guy on the block, just got my second Maverick and can't wait for some good weather to go out and play. Still have a few things to mess with. Thinking about changing out the rear end and going with 4 wheel disc brakes.

The mav is gone but i'm still here!
Welcome :) rear end swap with disc is pretty easy. A granada/versailles/monarch 9" will bolt in and some had discs. Or you can go modern with a 8.8" out of an explorer. It takes some work though. But if you want to keep the stock 8" the rear discs will swap over from the 8.8 rear, look it up in the tech article section :)

Thanks for the replys!! This seems to be THE sight for Maverick owners I have been crusing around reading alot of posts and it has a wealth of good info. I just bought my car last week from a guy in Kentucky, it was already done. It has a Comet Maverick Club sticker on it and the previous owner said he was interviewed by HP TV a few years ago at a show in Kentucky. So I'm excited to say the least. The trip back to St. Louis included a lot of thumbs up. It's only 14 degrees out today so about all I can do is play around on the net, no heat in the garage.
