my mav is boxed in by walls of snow from my grandpa clearing the driveways with the tractor. i don't have a pic but i can say there's no way it's getting out of there til the snow melts.

We got about 4 1/2 inches here, but the snow does not bother me at all. It is that 1/2 inch of ice that is hiding under it. You know the one that forms because some of the snow melts during the day and then refreezed at night. Had no problem on Monday and Tuesday, but last night it dipped down to 20 degrees. Road that were fine yesterday are now deadly.

I especially love all the four wheel idiots we have here. They think because they have 4 wheel drive, they can drive as fast as they want. Well I hate to tell them that only means they will have 4 wheels spinning out of control on the ice instead of 2.

Sorry about the soap box. As you can tell I saw many of these idiots in the ditch on my way to work today.

I mentioned in a previous post that i don't understand why people continue to live in those conditions, let me just say,,, im glad they stay there. if everyone move to the south west, i would never be able to get any car parts:rofl2:.
while you deal with snow and ice, we deal with 100+ temps 5 months out of the year.....fair trade to me. I love it!
    obw - no humidity! you know....it's a dry heat:D

You can keep your heat, not saying i dont like 70 degree weather but 100 doesnt sound as nice. Live there in the winter and here in the summer, or alaska.

Winter is great up here if you like the outdoors. Lots of stuff to do. I actually get more fishing in during the winter than in the warm weather and the fish taste great out of cold water. Throw them outside after you catch so they freeze up. By the time you get home they are partially frozen and alot easier to clean. Just got to stay positive and find stuff to do. I have 2 buddies that moved south for a few years then ended up coming back. I would miss my winters believe it or not. Guess it depends on the person.

We got 27 inches of snow in 18 hours. A new record snow fall in Connecticut. The official measurement is at Windsor Locks. That was 22 inches. I'm in Wallingford.
