When I ordered all the parts for my build the fellow on the phone that took my initial order was really good. I had all the numbers ready but he verified them for me. As I listed them off he told me what they were instantly. Told me a few parts were back ordered. Couldnt give me a ship time. Ok thats why I ordered earlier than needed. He was quick and new what he was talking about. Excellent to deal with. The problem came weeks later when I called to check on the status to make sure my parts were still coming. The girl on the phone couldnt care less and made me feel like I was a bother asking for the parts I paid for weeks ago. Working in the Auto business I know enough that an attitude like that will stick in a customers mind a long time. Not good business.
i guess after looking at some of the replies i can agree with some of the answers. i do not agree however with the ebay portion of alot of these companys. if you list a item it better be in stock. if you look at alot of these companys they list the part on ebay a little cheaper then thier catalog prices. so as a customer your going to think if i buy this now on ebay, i will not only save some money, i should also get the part faster. it should be a ebay policy that you can not list items that you dont have.
Yes this is a stupid idea. Why sell the parts if you dont have them? They said they run out of maverick parts quick due to the high demand. hahahahaha I told them to ship my parts individually and got a big box a week later. They told me 3 weeks for the windshield gasket but i have 75% of my parts right now. oh well.... all i can do is wait.
