If I speak Spanish, good compiling my question this cart is a guy and he gives, I would like to know what kind of maverick is, and that this maverick has a skull so long, thin covers of side by side on an ongoing basis, this is small, has in front a continuous grid without Flash quarters, like to saver how much costs a car of this type and if worth restaorarlo or not I ever seen had one like, resemble the skull of the torino but it is much more chico car

That translator program used kind of screwed up the meaning (A LOT) but if he's thinking about a price and if it's worth restoring $500 or less if it runs.

Si funciona entonces menos de 500 dólares

They looked a lot like the tail lights that came on a 1965 Buick Skylark that I owned years ago :yup:

Update - not 65 Skylark - might be something home made

I think I remember someone doing a "cyclops" light with custom bezel..but I think at first glance these look like Torino units grafted on.

Translation: Yes, I speak Spanish. Well mi question is: This car belongs to an uncle of mine. I would like to know what kind of Maverick this is and why it has such a long taillight that covers the entire rear panel continuously which also has a square grid on the lens, it has a front grill without turnlights. I would like to know if it is worth restoring or not. I have never seen one with this particular traits. The tailligths appear to be that of a Torino but this is a much smaller car.

Well there you have it guys. Hope it helps.

Heck this is very hard to tell in Mexico. That is where this car is from. I have seen MAvericks from the year 74 and 75 that were factory small bumper and also some that have the 73 larger than 72 bumper. And the center grill emblem also found its way in 72, and 73 year models. It is of popular knowledge among Mexicans that US carmakers always dump their obsolete, non compliant to US government standards and excess inventory south of the border

And north of the border a co-worker that recently retired told me years ago in the 60's she worked for Ford Motor Co in Michigan and chrome parts that didn't pass inspection were shipped to Canada.
